Maximizing Sleep Time

In today’s blog post, we will be discussing different ways to maximize sleeping time. The importance of healthy sleep routines will allow you to receive sufficient sleep for a productive day.


Prior to sleeping, make sure you complete these tasks well before bedtime (provide between two to three hours at least):


  1. Eating

  2. Showering (this can be a bit closer to bedtime to help you fall asleep but not to sleep)

  3. Exercising

  4. Checking your phone

  5. Watching TV

  6. Being on your computer

  7. Being in a white-light environment


Then, when it comes time to sleep:


  1. Dim the nights gradually

  2. Turn off distractions

  3. Ensure proper sleeping temperature

  4. Make sure pillows and blankets are in optimal condition


Regardless of the routine you follow, make sure to keep it consistent.
