Our Mission
In an era largely driven by academic validation, sleep is often overlooked by many young adults in favor of extracurricular activities, schoolwork, and social life. The objective of our project was to inspire individuals to better their own sleep habits by investigating the long-term effects of adolescent-based sleep deprivation on the onset of chronic conditions, diseases, or somnipathy. Our project was split into three main phases, each with its own goals. Phase One was to spread awareness in our local community, hoping to impact over a thousand people in our community. Phase Two was developed to spread awareness on a broader, national scale, partnering with multiple organizations across the nation to expand our influence. Phase Three was aimed to inspire significant change within the community, through events and activities that would promote opportunities to better one’s sleep health.

Through our work, we hope to investigate somnipathy and the influence of adolescent sleep deprivation. By spreading awareness of conditions that are often overlooked, we aspire to prevent long-term risks that those with undiagnosed sleep conditions may face. By offering sessions and sleep management tips, we will connect you with professionals to aid your journey of living a healthier lifestyle. As you join us in our sleep community, we will help you develop healthier habits to become the person you would like to see.
