Insomnia is the inability to initiate or maintain sleep. Its impact is often manifesting excessive daytime sleepiness and causing functional impairment throughout the rest of the day. It is a common sleep disorder that creates difficulty in initiating sleep, decreasing energy, quality of life, and mood
Symptoms:
Difficulty initiating sleep at night

Anxiety surrounding sleep
Narcolepsy is excessive daytime sleepiness with sudden muscle weakness and a sleep disorder that creates drowsiness or periods of sleep during the daytime.

Restless leg syndrome is a condition in which an uncomfortable uncontrollable sensation creeps up in the legs that requires relief of symptoms. There may be abnormalities in the neurotransmitter dopamine.
